AIWAV February Meeting 2025 Report

The February meeting at Castello 925 featured a presentation by our President, Julia Runte, about her experiences working with Afghan human rights defenders and non-profit organizations who try to support the cause of women in Afghanistan. After the presentation there was a fascinating discussion about this difficult subject. There was also a short update from Laura about the situation with our imminent second Carnival Party and a number of members generously stepped forward to volunteer on the night. As usual the evening finished with a social hour. It was lovely to see new and prospective new members again this month.
